“Christ is risen!”
“He is risen indeed!”
For centuries, Christians have been greeting one another on Easter morning with these words. And, we can join with believers through the ages with the same salutation and rejoice with the saints on Earth and in Heaven. We serve a risen Savior who deserves all glory and praise.
In Acts 2: 22-24, Peter preached to the crowd at Pentecost, declaring the works of Christ in life and death, including these words:
“…this man, delivered up by the predetermined plan and foreknowledge of God…”
In God’s gracious Providence, He provided the double cure for our sin. By His death and resurrection, He not only took our sin away, but he also gave us His own righteousness. May you rejoice today, remembering His gracious salvation.
